What: The outside westbound lane of the 100 block of West Central and part of the 200 block is now closed (Sept. 10).
Why: Crews will start working on the water line in that area. The new water line is complete all the way up to Main, and they are jumping over Main for now to continue the work.
Next: The storm sewer box installation is approaching Vine Street. Once the box is installed through Vine, a temporary pavement will be put down. Then Vine and Griffith intersections will be opened back up, and Main and Central will be closed on the north side of the intersection.
