The El Dorado City Commission approved an ordinance on March 24, 2021 repealing the city’s requirement for the wearing of masks or other face coverings in public spaces.
Once the ordinance is published in the local newspaper on March 30, 2021, the mandate will no longer be in effect.
Please continue to follow requests by local business owners who require masks in their businesses and continue to follow safety guidelines of social distancing, washing your hands frequently and staying home if you are sick.
